Because of generous neighbors like YOU, we were able to spread holiday cheer to over 1,000 kids in our community in 2022. United Way partners with local social service agencies and we hope to warm the hearts of local children even more this year!
We will begin collecting Winter Wishlist donations for children of all ages from November 1st, 2023 - December 8th, 2023. These gifts are given to children enrolled in United Way's programs and children in the foster care system during the holiday season.

Items we collect and give to local children

United Way's Winter Wishlist Program provides local children enrolled in our Families First Program with brand-new gifts during the holiday season. The Families First Program prioritizes securing stable housing for families with children who are experiencing homelessness or near homelessness.

Due to the overwhelming support our community has shown the Winter Wishlist Program, we also collaborate with the Grand Forks Foster Care System to provide all remaining gifts to the children in the foster care system who may otherwise not receive anything.

Every child deserves at least one present to open during the holidays. You can share the hope and joy of the season with local children who may otherwise not be so blessed!
